Crowe’s assistant underwriter, Suzy Stennett has recently been elected onto the board of directors at the Animal Transportation Association (AATA).

The AATA is an international non-profit making organisation with a worldwide membership that is dedicated to ensuring safe and humane transportation of animals around the globe. Their work is extremely diverse and includes input on regulations and legislative issues as well as the development of programs for education, training and marketing.

‘I am delighted to be on the board at the AATA ’ Suzy explains ‘Crowe has always been 100% committed to the same goals of ensuring the highest possible standards of animal welfare in transit. Now, I can be actively involved in initiating and encouraging best practice in the industry and that’s so important.’

As part of her role at Crowe Livestock, Suzy has regularly attended the AATA annual conferences and since her appointment to the board has been instrumental in various operating decisions as well as many aspects of the planning and organisation of the AATA’s 33rd International Conference scheduled for April 2007.
